Speaking as a web developer, my favoured internet browser is Mozilla’s Firefox. Not only does it offer tabbed browsing, popup blocking, displays websites fast and correctly and providers increased security and privacy.

Firefox, being and open source web browser gives developers the ability to improve on the vast amount of add-ons available. My preferred add-ons are the Web Developer and Firebug add-ons.

The web developer add-on gives the options to disable certain characteristics on the website. Being able to do this, will allow emulation of how other users many be viewing the site. For example, there is the option to disabling JavaScript, cookies, styles, images also the ability to test W3C validation and much, much more!

Another extremely useful add-on is Firebug. This enables inspection of the HTML and CSS code while viewing the graphical design. Will the vast amount of add-ons available, it really makes Firefox more that just a browser.
